Εργαστήριο ελληνικoύ και τούρκικου παραδοσιακού τραγουδίσματος με τον Χρήστο Κανέλλο Μάλαμα

Το µουσικό εργαστήριο αναφέρεται σε τραγουδιστές και οργανοπαίχτες οποιουδήποτε επιπέδου οι οποίοι
ενδιαφέρονται να εξερευνήσουν τις ελληνόφωνες και τουρκόφωνες παραδοσιακές µουσικές της περιοχής της Μικράς Ασίας. Θα δουλέψουµε τραγούδια της ταβέρνας, ρεµπέτικο, σαρκί, χορούς και οργανικά κοµµάτια καθώς και
σεφαραδίτικα.
Το εργαστήριο σαν σκοπό έχει να αποκτήσει ο µαθητής οικειότητα στον ιδιαίτερο τρόπο έκφρασης αυτών των µουσικών, γιαυτό και θα δοθεί βάρος στην µουσική πράξη, χωρίς να λείψει παράλληλα η θεωρητική μελέτη των κοµµατιών.

Ο Χρήστος Κανέλλος Μαλαμάς είναι µουσικός ελληνικής καταγωγής (Αθήνα), του οποίου οι γνώσεις καλύπτουν διαφορετικούς τοµείς τόσο της Ανατολικής όσο και της Δυτικής µουσικής. Μουσικολόγος, πτυχιούχος κλασικής κιθάρας,
ειδικευµένος στο βυζαντινό λειτουργικό άσµα, στο οθωµανικό,
ρεµπέτικο και σεφαραδίτικο τραγούδι, ανατολίτικα νυκτά µουσικά όργανα, κλασική κιθάρα και µουσικό αυτοσχεδιασµό. Είναι επίσης καθηγητής µουσικής και οργανοποιός.
ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ
2021: Μάστερ της Ισπανικής και Ισπανοαµερικανικής Μουσικής στο Πανεπιστήµιο της Σαλαµάνκα. Ερευνητικές γραµµές: µεσαιωνικές µουσικές σηµειογραφίες, κατασκευή οργάνων του πολιτισµού των σουµερίων, µουσική εικονογραφία και συµβολισµός, ανακατασκευή ιστορικών οργάνων.
2020: Αποφοίτησε από το Conservatorio "Rafael Orozco" στην
Κόρδοβα µε την ειδικότητα της κλασικής κιθάρας. Καθηγητές: Antonio Contreras, Michel Pérez και Pablo Barón.
Από το 2019 λαµβάνει µαθήµατα Γρηγοριανού µέλους από τον Δρ
Javier Lara
Από το 2018 παρακολουθεί µαθήµατα στο τουρκικό σάζι και στο οθωµανικό τραγούδι με τον Δρ. Νίκο Ανδρίκο.
2007-2013: Ως βασικός µουσικός του Museo de la Memoria της Κόρδοβας, γνωρίζει τον κόσµο της σεφαραδίτικης µουσικής παράδοσης, που του παρέχει σηµαντική επαφή και γνώση πάνω στη γλώσσα και τη µετρική της µεσαιωνικής Ισπανίας µέσω προσωπικής του έρευνας στη βιβλιοθήκη του κέντρου.
2010: Σπούδασε βιβλιοδεσία στο Escuela de Artes y Oficios της Córdoba.
2013: Σπούδασε οργανοποιεία στο Λαϊκό Πανεπιστήµιο του Vigo της Γαλικίας.
1997-2003: Θεολογία στο Πανεπιστήµιο Αθηνών και παραδοσιακά έγχορδα όργανα και συµµετέχει ως ισοκράτης
στη Βυζαντινή Χορωδία του Τµήµατος Μουσικολογίας του Πανεπιστηµίου Αθηνών, υπό τη διεύθυνση του Γρηγορίου Στάθη.
1996-2002: Βυζαντινό λειτουργικό άσµα και παραδοσιακό τραγούδι στην Αθήνα µε δασκάλους τους Γιώργο Ζήσιµο, Γιώργο Καραφύλη, Γρηγόριο Στάθη.
Παράλληλα, σπούδασε παλαιογραφία και βυζαντινή αγιογραφία κοντά στον πατέρα Κωσταντίνο Στρατηγόπουλο.
Ένα από τα κύρια ενδιαφέροντά του είναι ο αυτοσχεδιασµός (τροπικός, τονικός, ελεύθερος) τόσο ως µέσο έκφρασης
όσο και ως τρόπος εκµάθησης και διδασκαλίας της µουσικής. Σπούδασε αυτοσχεδιασµό σε όλα τα παραπανω είδη
µουσικής, ιδιαίτερα στο τροπικό τραγούδι, στα νυκτά όργανα και στην κλασική κιθάρα.
Είναι ιδρυτής της Εscuela de Música Modal de Granada η οποία λειτουργεί για έδβοµη συνεχή χρονιά στην Γρανάδα της Ισπανίας και στην οποία διδάσκει µαθήµατα σε διαφορετικούς µουσικούς τοµείς όπως θεωρία, αυτοσχεδιασµό, κλασική κιθάρα, τραγούδι και κατασκευή παραδοσιακών οργάνων.
Παράλληλα ασχολείται µε τη σύνθεση τροπικής ανατολικής, µεσαιωνικής και κλάσικής µουσικής. Έχει εκδώσει δυο
δισκογραφικές προσωπικές δουλειές µε τροπικό ανατολικό χαρακτήρα και προσεχώς θα εκδοθεί ο τρίτος του δίσκος
µε καθαρά τούρκικες και ελληνικές επιρροές από την εκδοτική εταιρία Kalan Musik.

Workshop für griechischen und türkischen traditionellen Gesang mit Christos Kanellos Malamas

Der Musikworkshop richtet sich an Sänger und Instrumentalisten jeden Niveaus, die daran interessiert sind, griechisch- und türkischsprachige traditionelle Musik der kleinasiatischen Region kennen zu lernen. Wir werden an Tavernenliedern, Rebetiko, Sarki, Tänzen und Instrumentalstücken sowie an sephardische Musik arbeiten.
Ziel des Workshops ist es, die Teilnehmer mit der besonderen Ausdrucksweise dieser Musik vertraut zu machen. Daher wird der Schwerpunkt auf der musikalischen Praxis liegen, ohne dass das theoretische Studium der Stücke zu kurz kommt.

Christos Kanellos Malamas ist ein Musiker griechischer Herkunft (Athen), dessen Kenntnisse verschiedene Bereiche der östlichen und westlichen Musik umfassen. Er ist Musikwissenschaftler und hat einen Abschluss in klassischer Gitarre, spezialisiert auf byzantinische liturgische Musik, osmanische liturgische Musik,
rebet und sephardischer Gesang, orientalische Musikinstrumente, klassische Gitarre und musikalische Improvisation. Er ist auch Musiklehrer und Instrumentenbauer.
AUSBILDUNG
2021: Master in spanischer und spanisch-amerikanischer Musik an der Universität von Salamanca. Forschungsschwerpunkte: mittelalterliche Musiknotation, Instrumentenbau in der sumerischen Kultur, musikalische Ikonographie und Symbolik, Rekonstruktion historischer Instrumente.
2020: Abschluss des Konservatoriums „Rafael Orozco“ in
Córdoba mit einem Diplom in klassischer Gitarre. Antonio Contreras, Michel Pérez und Pablo Barón.
Seit 2019 erhält er Unterricht in Gregorianischem Gesang von Dr.
Javier Lara.
Seit 2018 nimmt er Unterricht in türkischem Saz und osmanischem Gesang bei Dr. Nikos Andrikos.
2007-2013: Als leitender Musiker des Museo de la Memoria in Córdoba ist er mit der Welt der sephardischen Musiktradition vertraut, was ihm durch seine persönlichen Recherchen in der Bibliothek des Zentrums einen wichtigen Kontakt und Kenntnisse über die Sprache und Metrik des mittelalterlichen Spaniens verschafft.
2010: Er studierte Buchbinderei an der Escuela de Artes y Oficios in Córdoba.
2013: Studium von Instrumentenbau an der Volksuniversität von Vigo, Galicien.
1997-2003: Theologiestudium an der Universität Athen und traditionelle Saiteninstrumente und Mitwirkung als Korrepetitor
im byzantinischen Chor der musikwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Athen unter der Leitung von Gregory Stathis.
1996-2002: Studium des byzantinisch-liturgischen und traditionellen Gesangs in Athen bei den Lehrern George Zisimos, George Karafilis und Gregory Stathis.
Parallel dazu studierte er Paläographie und byzantinische Ikonographie bei Pater Konstantinos Stratigopoulos.
Eines seiner Hauptinteressen ist die Improvisation (modal, tonal, frei) sowohl als Ausdrucksmittel als auch als Mittel zum Lernen und Lehren von Musik. Er hat Improvisation in allen folgenden Genres studiert, insbesondere in modalem Gesang, Saiteninstrumenten und klassischer Gitarre.
Er ist der Gründer der Escuela de Música Modal de Granada, die seit sieben Jahren in Granada, Spanien, besteht und in der er Kurse in verschiedenen musikalischen Bereichen wie Theorie, Improvisation, klassische Gitarre, Gesang und traditioneller Instrumentenbau gibt.
Er arbeitet auch an der Komposition von modal- orientalischer, mittelalterlicher und klassischer Musik. Er hat zwei Alben veröffentlicht mit modal-orientalischem Charakter und sein drittes Album steht kurz vor der Veröffentlichung mit rein türkischen und griechischen Einflüssen beim Verlag Kalan Musik.
Er lebt und arbeitet in Granada, Spanien.

Workshop of Greek and Turkish traditional singing with Christos Kanellos Malamas

The music workshop refers to singers and instrumentalists of any level who are interested in exploring the Greek- and Turkish-speaking traditional music of the Asia Minor region. We will work on tavern songs, rebetiko, sarki, dances and instrumental pieces as well as Sephardic music.
The aim of the workshop is for the students to become familiar with the particular way of expression of these musicians, therefore we will give emphasis on musical practice, without missing the theoretical study of the pieces.

Chris Kanellos Malamas is a musician of Greek origin (Athens), whose knowledge covers different areas of both Eastern and Western music. He is a musicologist, with a degree in classical guitar, specializing in Byzantine liturgical music, Ottoman liturgical music, rebetiko and Sephardic singing, oriental modal music and instruments, classical guitar and musical improvisation. He is also amusic teacher and instrument maker.
EDUCATION
2021: Master's degree in Spanish and Spanish-American Music at the University of Salamanca. Fields of research: medieval music, Spanish and Spanish musical notation, construction of instruments of the culture of the musical iconography and symbolism, reconstruction of musical instruments in the Sumerian culture, reconstruction of historical instruments.
2020: graduated from the Conservatorio "Rafael Orozco" in
Córdoba with a degree in classical guitar. Teachers: Contreras, Michel Pérez and Pablo Barón.
Since 2019 he has been receiving Gregorian chant lessons from Dr. Javier Lara.
