The 16th annual Kamloops Highland Games is back. New date, same great location!
June 27th 2026 at Albert McGowan Park. Gates open at 7:30am.
The Games promises a full day of Scottish culture, athletic competition, entertainment, food, and family fun.
Highlights include:
·Highland dancing
·Pipe band performances
·Heavy events athletics
·Dog agility trials
·Swordsmanship demonstrations
·Various vendors
·Kids Zone with crafts and games
·Honey mead, ice cream, lemonade, twisted potatos, and more
·BBQ of hotdogs, burgers, and haggis burgers
·Beer gardens hosted by Iron Road brewery
Parking: the entire lot at Albert McGowan will be reserved for handicap parking. There are two churches nearby, or park at Aberdeen Mall and take our free shuttle.
Spectators are advised to bring their own camping chairs, as metal bleachers will not be set up due to the summer heat.
Admission: (tickets are available at the gate)
Adults - $15
Youth (6-17) - $12
Seniors (65+) - $12
Kids 5 and under - free
