Kamikaze Comedy will be at Delamar Traverse City, Saturday April 26th!Join us in the Ballroom for a night of laughs with Kamikaze Comedy's own Scott Witkop and Grand Rapids favorite, Christa Wright! Hosting for the evening is Kamikaze Comedy's own and TC favorite, Joe Curtis! Also joining the fun is another Traverse City staple and Comedy O.G. Scotty Bruce!
Scott Witkop’s comedy journey kicked off in dive bars of Northern Michigan, where he quickly discovered a knack for drawing attention from rowdy strangers. After branching out to perform in Southern California and Central Texas, Scott has honed his unique brand of outlandish storytelling mixed with sharp, relatable insights into relationships, work life, and personal growth. With nearly six years of experience under his belt, Scott is now a staple in the Traverse City comedy scene, producing and performing with Kamikaze Comedy. He also co-hosts the USS Comedy Open Mic and has made appearances at events like the Traverse City Comedy Festival, “Don’t Tell” Grand Rapids, and has featured at Twice as Funny Comedy Lounge and the Traverse City Comedy Club.
Armed with a little bit of silly and a whole lot of sass, Christa Wright brings laughs to every stage. Originally from out in the sticks, the former theater kid brings those two drastically different worlds together to craft a comedic cocktail for the ages. Whether discussing dating, the terrible twenties, or just general goofiness, Christa has audiences fall for every apparent charm. She is currently a cast member of the YouTube channel LaughLab TV and performs standup comedy state-wide.
