DJ Joeski’s trajectory can be traced back to 1991, when he burst onto the NYC house music scene, playing alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez. By the late 90’s, already becoming a fixture on the U.S. and Canadian club circuit, Joeski added production to his repertoire with hit after hit on Electrik Soul, Siesta, Chez and Camouflage, emerging as one of the most in-demand DJs, remixers and producers in the scene.
In 2001 Joeski launched Maya Records, which jumped to the forefront of the U.S. house music sound, becoming a global phenomenon and win him worldwide acclaim from clubbers and fellow DJs alike. Demand for his studio skills has grown exponentially over the past two decades, with Joeski producing and remixing on many of the industry’s most influential labels, including Ministry of Sound, Defected, Bedrock, Nervous, Cajual, Relief, KMS, Compost, Hot Creations, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Dirtybird, Suara, and Desert Hearts. With even more to offer, Joeski’s created Aztec Tribalism Recordings, as an outlet for deep, tribal, and afro leaning house music in 2021.
