Free Shuttle Bus:
We'll have our usual free shuttle bus running back and forth from the City of Kalamunda Administration Carpark - 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda. First bus leaves the carpark at 9:30am. Last bus leaves the garden festival at 3:15pm. Bus runs roughly every 20 minutes.
Public Transport:
Transperth buses leave regularly from the High Wycombe Train Station to Kalamunda. Click Here to use the Transperth Journey Planner.
Parking:
There's minimal parking at Stirk Park. Guests usually use surrounding street parking or park in the townsite then walk down (about a five minute walk). The City of Kalamunda may have parking inspectors patrolling so please double check you're not blocking anyone's driveways, obstructing footpaths or parking in areas with signage stating no parking. ACROD parking is located along Headingly Road.
Dogs:
The City of Kalamunda doesn’t allow dogs in Stirk Park. Our event is fenced and we can’t allow dogs into the garden festival as it breaches our event approval agreement and any future garden festivals may not be given permission to proceed in that location if we don’t adhere to the rules.
Plant Crèche:
We’ll have our popular Plant Crèche service available again. You can leave your purchases at the Plant Crèche and we’ll take good care of them whilst you’re looking around the garden festival and enjoying the guest speaker talks. When you’re leaving the garden festival, go grab your car then come and load up. The Plant Crèche is located inside the festival boundary, along Headingly Road.
Seasol Plant Doctor:
The Plant Doctor stall will be returning, thanks to Seasol. If you have a sick plant, take a photo and come speak with our team of legends from Gardeners' Circle, and they'll give you advice on how to hopefully make your plant well again. Please don't bring any diseased plant material into the event.
EFTPOS:
EFTPOS can be used all around the event. All stalls (except for two) take EFTPOS.
Wheelchair Accessibility:
The garden festival is held in a park and it is wheelchair accessible. There are some concrete paths but the majority of the event is on grass. There is a very gradual slope in some areas.
