Kalab Robinson Benefit Oyster Roast - November 16, 2024

Join us for an afternoon of live music, great food, and community as we come together to raise funds for Kalab Robinson, a beloved local waterman. Kalab was paralyzed from the shoulders down after a car accident in August 2022, leaving him with limited mobility. Our goal is to raise enough money to provide Kalab with a vehicle that will give him back his independence and allow him to leave his home safely.

What to Expect:

•Silent auction with incredible items up for grabs
•Cash bar for drinks

In addition to the oyster roast, we welcome cash donations, and we will be setting up a GoFundMe to support this cause. All proceeds will go directly toward purchasing a vehicle that suits Kalab’s new lifestyle. Your contributions will make a life-changing difference, allowing Kalab to regain a sense of freedom and independence. He deserves the chance to live life fully, just as he always has—working, spending time outdoors, and being the vibrant person we all know and love.

About Kalab:
Kalab Robinson, a 22-year-old with a passion for the water and a deep love for his community, was once an active and adventurous young man. As a waterman, he lived for days spent fishing, hunting, and exploring the outdoors. A tragic accident on August 6, 2022, left him with a shattered C4 vertebra and a long road to recovery. Thanks to his incredible determination and the support of friends, family, and generous donors, Kalab has defied doctors’ expectations, making strides in his rehabilitation. But life is still challenging, and Kalab's greatest wish is to regain some of the independence he lost.Together, we can help Kalab achieve that goal.
