This is our yearly gathering for Jesus mystics and Trinitarian Gospel junkies who are interested in growing in what it means to do community and church!Since 2015, Matt Spinks, Jared Gustafson and like-minded communities have been organizing Kainos Koinonia once a year in different parts of North America. The goal was to eat meals, worship and share conversation together for days on end toward (Kainos) New Creation Community (Koinonia), in tha Glory!
This year we will be in the Birmingham, Alabama area!
We will stay at a retreat center, with air-conditioned rooms, and meals provided by the retreat. You can stay in a dorm style shared room, or book your own room for yourself or your family. You can also just pay per day and stay off-site.
We will have worship and sessions daily, workshops led by YOU, and plenty of time to explore the massive retreat grounds, including a river with swimming and boating, sports options, hiking, etc...
**Also we will have a fun costume worship party on Oct. 31 evening! Bring a costume and some candy/goodies to share!**
