Kaine’s Story5 years ago Kaine who is Bailee Motter’s now 9 year old Labrador Retriever and Best Boy was diagnosed with a form of testicular cancer and was told he would need to be neutered to avoid treatment for the cancer. A week after his surgery due to no fault of anyone including his care team Kaine went into severe septic shock. He was quickly driven to the Emergency vet where he spent several days and nights in Critical Care with a vet tech dedicated to just him. He was given a 5% chance of survival in the first 48 hours and if he survived that his chances of making it would then increase to over 50%. He is here today because of his amazing team at Blue Pearl.
