LOCATIONOur first Toronto Cauldron KaffeeKlatsch will be at Alternity, 333 Bloor St., a fabulous centre of connectedness and mindful activities. They have teas, coffees, books, gems, candles, oils, event space, and really cool furniture! It's in the heart of UofT, right next to the REALLY COOL Bata Shoe Museum.
ACTIVITY
We will do some silly BIBLIOMANCY!
Bibliomancy is the use of books in divination. The use of sacred books (especially specific words and verses) for "magical medicine", for removing negative entities, or for divination is widespread in many religions of the world.
Bring your favourite book of sayings, grimoires, magical texts, plays, or even madlibs, and we will share our fortunes for the new year or discover answers to personal dilemmas (it actually kinda works, so don't scoff!) You can be SILLY or SERIOUS and we can divine for each other.
We might also make paper snowflakes because play is how we connect with our true selves!
