As part of the Kabaddi World Cup 2025 celebrations we’re excited to invite families to a weekend of free arts and cultural activities at Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March.
This special event will feature a range of creative workshops inspired by South Asian traditions:
Saturday 15th March
• Presented by the Sonia Sabri Company: South Asian Drumming Workshop – 10:45 AM 11:45 AM 1:30 PM
• Presented by the Jaivant Patel Company: Rangoli Workshop – 10:45 AM 11:30 AM 1:00 PM
Sunday 16th March
• Presented by the Sonia Sabri Company South Asian Drumming Workshop – 11:30 AM 1:00 PM
• World Cup Flags & Banners Art Workshop – 11:30 AM 1:00 PM
Alongside these interactive sessions visitors can also explore a South Asian Market Art Installation by artist Daya Bhatti bringing the sights and sounds of a vibrant market into the gallery space. These free drop-in activities are open to all and a great opportunity for families to engage with creativity culture and the excitement of the Kabaddi World Cup.
