KaadKaapi Film Screening + Chat

Osito Coffee is proud to share our new documentary about the amazing work of the KaadKaapi farming collective. We'll screen the short film, followed by a short discussion with Kieran Power (consultant at KaadKapi over the last season). We'll also have the chance to taste some fresh crop coffee from India and enjoy Indian snack food for lunch.
KaadKaapi's objective is to preserve their biodiverse landscape through wildlife conservation. Their method of cultivating specialty coffee on protected land reserves, using environmentally-responsible agroforestry, preserves the forests needed for coffee trees to survive in this part of the world. These responsible farming practices have preserved the landscape where they and their ancestors have been growing coffee for generations. It also venerates the native animals that are facing increased volatility at the hands of humans through deforestation and habitat destruction.
