K-POP meetup area + North Star Riichi Mahjong non- Gambling club
We have exciting news for our August 7–9 event!
This year, we will have a designated K-Pop Meetup Area for K-Pop fans to meet up, hang out, sit, chat, and connect with others who share the same interest.
Last time, we had K-Pop vendors, but this time we will not have dedicated K-Pop vendors. However, we will still have our general merchandise vendors, so make sure to stop by and shop around!
We are also working to see if Novie Studio will be joining us with a photo booth experience.
We are excited to announce a new addition to the event: North Star Riichi Mahjong! They will have a large activity area connected to the K-Pop Meetup Area.
North Star Riichi Mahjong is a volunteer-driven social gaming club dedicated to Japanese-style mahjong. Founded in 2025 by six mahjong enthusiasts, their goal is to build community and connect people through the game of mahjong. They host free weekly events, welcome players of all experience levels, and work with local cultural and gaming groups to grow the visibility of mahjong in Minnesota.
Make sure to stop by their booth for a free tutorial lesson from one of their mahjong experts. They will have you building hands in no time!
We are excited to have them be part of the Asian Street Food Night Market, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the mahjong table.
