Please join me for a festive celebration in honor of Jólabókaflóð, the Icelandic "Christmas book flood."
There will be three activities:
1) Book Exchange: Everyone bring a book (or books) they are willing to part with. These will be placed in a large pile for everyone to peruse, selecting at least one to go home with.
2) Book Reports: Anyone can sign up to deliver a 3-5 minute book report on a book they have recently read and enjoyed. If interested, please let me know ASAP.
3) Book Shop: Our friends from Gathering Volumes bookstore will be present with a selection of books to purchase, including those covered in the book reports.
