Celebrate Mother’s Day by immersing yourself in the beauty of nature on our 4th Annual Mother’s Day Bird Walk! Join us at the Blair County Game, Fish & Forestry for a guided birding adventure through lush woodlands and scenic meadows, where we’ll be on the lookout for a variety of spring migrants and resident species.
Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just getting started, this event is a perfect way to connect with nature and learn about the diverse birdlife in our area. Our experienced guides from the Juniata Valley Audubon Society will be on hand to share their knowledge and help identify species, making this a great outing for birders of all levels.
What to bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Binoculars (if you have them)
• A field guide or birding app (optional)
• Weather-appropriate clothing (please dress in layers)
