Justin's Ride for Overdose Awareness

In 2022, 21-year-old Justin Small, like so many other members of our community, fell prey to addictive substances. To remember Justin and all the other victims of addiction, we are holding a motorcycle ride and a music festival to raise funds for Fellowship Hall, a detox and rehab center here in Greensboro. This is the second Justin’s Ride event, but the first one here at Doodad Farm. We’re proud to turn the farm over to organizer Tricia Brown for this important event. Everyone is welcome, including children and leashed, friendly pets. Bring chairs, coolers, and whatever else you need to enjoy a day at the farm!
THE RIDE
For those of you who are interested in joining the motorcycle ride, please meet at 10am at Lucky’s Saloon at 1433 Industry Drive in Burlington. Registration is $10 for singles and $15 for tandems, which gets you a free BBQ lunch at Lashay’s. To complete the ride, you’ll visit the following stops:

Food will be provided for riders at Lashay’s by Bernie’s BBQ.
THE EVENT AT DOODAD FARM
Everyone is welcome to arrive at Doodad Farm as early as noon. The live music will begin at 1pm.

In addition to the live music, we’ll also have:

OTHER DETAILS
• Doodad Farm is a safe place for all people. Everyone is welcome here.
• This is an outside, farm-like setting (thus the name). Dress like you’re going camping and you’ll be fine. Bug spray and suntan lotion might be a good idea.
• We never allow weapons of any sort at the farm. If you think you need to protect yourself here, you’re in the wrong place.
• Bring your own beverages, and consume them responsibly.
• If you’re a sitter, bring a chair. If you forget, we have some extras.
• Smoking is permitted as long as you don’t bother anyone or do any butt-dropping.
• Please clean up after yourself and treat the Farm as if it’s your own (in a way, it is!).
• Portable toilets and drinking water will be available.
• Let someone help you park, especially if the field is wet.
