Behavioral health focuses on the promotion of well-being through prevention or intervention of those who have a mental illness and/or substance use disorder. This includes support of those who experience or are in recovery from these conditions, along with their families and communities. This conference will focus on changing the lens through increasing knowledge, reducing stigma and normalizing conversations about behavioral health issues. Improving behavioral health services for individuals with a mental illness or substance abuse disorder can be challenging, but together we can have a significant impact on the individuals' physical and social well-being. Join us for an education and training opportunity which will highlight these topics and provide strategies you can implement into your current profession.
Keynote speaker Ryan Leaf, a former NFL quarterback, will bring a powerful, firsthand perspective on the intersection of justice and substance use. His story of resilience and redemption will set the tone for a summit focused on hope, healing and real change.
