Join us on Monday, 4th May, at The Bromley Court Hotel, Bromley Hill, Bromley, BR1 4JD, for a day designed to renew your spirit, uplift your heart, and remind you that God is always at work in your life. This year, our theme is “Broken. Breakthrough. Blessed.” — a journey of healing, transformation, and the blessings that follow when we trust God in every season.
These words reflect my own journey. There were seasons when I felt completely broken — through childhood trauma, challenges in marriage, raising children alone, and feeling like I wasn’t enough. Yet in those moments, God whispered, “I am close to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18), and reminded me, “He gives beauty for ashes” (Isaiah 61:3).
I found strength in the stories of women in the Bible:

• Hannah, who poured out her pain and found breakthrough through prayer.
• Naomi, who lost everything yet discovered God’s restoration.
• Mary Magdalene, once broken, who became one of the first to witness the risen Christ.

Their stories remind us that God meets us in our pain, emptiness, and uncertainty — and brings us through. When we pause, pray, and wait on Him, breakthrough unfolds, and blessings follow — peace in our hearts, restoration in our relationships, clarity in our purpose, and joy in everyday life.
God doesn’t just heal the broken; He transforms us so beauty, hope, and blessing emerge from the places that once felt empty. That is why I’m so excited to invite you to this year’s conference.

Sheila Belgrave is a passionate leader, preacher, and visionary dedicated to empowering lives, building communities, and advancing the Church's mission in a rapidly changing world. With a distinguished career spanning the Civil Service and Local Authorities, Sheila has held senior roles, including CEO and non-executive director, leaving a legacy of excellence and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
As the founder of EmpowHer to Rise, Soul Sisters Women’s Ministries, and transformative programs in Kenya, Sheila provides mentorship, education, and spiritual empowerment to women, children, and young people. Her work in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion fosters cultures of belonging and drives positive change in both public and private sectors.
A Pr*son chaplain and lecturer specializing in Eschatology and Church History, Sheila inspires hope, restores faith, and equips future leaders with theological insights. Honored with the 2024 Wise Woman Award for Ministerial Leadership, her life and ministry reflect unwavering faith and servant leadership, anchored by the belief that "Only what you do for Christ will last."

Dr Joan Myers OBE
Inspirational Speaker

Joan Myers is a highly sought-after speaker with nearly 38 years of ministry experience, having preached in the UK, USA, West Indies, and Africa. She is passionate about God's Word and reaching souls for His Kingdom. In 2019, Joan received the Inspirational Christian Wise Woman Award.
She is also a member of Five2Medics, a charity supporting healthcare professionals during the pandemic. Joan is a multi-award-winning nurse and leader, recognized with the Special Recognition Zenith Global Health Award in 2018 for mission work in Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana. She runs a children’s charity in Kenya, supporting 25 vulnerable children with education and food.
Joan was awarded the Woman 4 Africa Award in 2023 for her contribution to health in Africa and the Health Advocacy Award in May 2024. A Fellow & Trustee of the Queen’s Nurses Institute, she received an OBE in 2013 for services to children and nursing. Joan was named one of the Top 50 most influential black people in the NHS in 2020 and 2021.

Karen Allen's passion is to inspire, empower and help others to transform their lives. She has been gifted and blessed to do this through many avenues including, speaking, writing, empowerment conferences and events, youth campaigns and one to one coaching etc.​
Her desire is to see people, particularly women and young people overcome obstacles that have prevented them from living an optimal life and she is most enthusiastic about topics surrounding identity, integrity and intention. Affectionately known as 'God's Girl', Karen has been credited with the ability to take complex issues and present them in a way which is simple, yet profound. This is a huge part of her life’s work.
As a renowned author, speaker and Bible Study teacher, Karen believes that everyone has the ability and the responsibility to live their best life, by God's grace.
