Just Dance welcomes special guests DJ Spruce Lee and Gin Perry!
Spruce Lee defies convention as a DJ, a reflection of his eclectic nature. He incorporates a diverse range of genres and energy levels, through unpredictable twists and turns, encompassing the vast spectrum of life experience in one set – from grounding to ethereal, light to dark, expansive to integrative.

Opening the evening will be DJ Abheeru sharing some deep, grooving and tribal sounds, infused and inspired by the diverse musical traditions. He will be selecting cuts from a palette of fresh global music and intuitively weave a unique full evening set for your dance odyssey.
The dance will open and close with 2 Sound Baths experiences offered by Gin Perry. Her sound bath offers a deeply restorative sound journey with a variety of instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and native American flutes as well as singing in different ancient languages.
Be prepared to experience a broad spectrum of tempo, rhythm and intensity in the sonic fabric. Expect to hear extravagant and exotic sounds from every continent, fused with hip-shakin' basslines and solid beats - a perfect synthesis of the traditional and contemporary.

Lush radiant visuals will be crafted live by the talented VJ Kashub.

As DJ Spruce Lee, I infuse my sets with these philosophies so that it feels like a ceremonial journey. I will take you through musical landscapes that speak to the ineffable spectrum of emotions within you, allowing them to come alive and be expressed through movement.
My musical journey begins with grounding music, before traversing the charged genres of ethnic and organic house, trance, funk and west coast bass, before integrating it all with relaxing ambient sounds.

Abheeru has cultivated a profound and rapturous relationship to Global Fusion music, DJing, community service and dancing. As the founder of Just Dance, he has produced, promoted and DJed more than 600 events for over 55,000 dancers, all in the spirit of service as he has always wanted for JD to donate all of its proceeds to local charities and nonprofit groups. For over two decades, he has continued to innovate, inspire and promote new musical concepts for the Vancouver dance community.

As a DJ, Abheeru is known for taping into an extensive palette of genres and styles from far-reaching locations around the world. His main passion is to infuse and mix a wide range of musical organic elements and instruments from many diverse cultures and to blend those with delectable and powerful modern dance beats. The results are exquisitely creative dance sets that will keep your dancing soul and shoes happy.

Gin Perry is a multifaceted, multidisciplinary artist and facilitator. Owner of Shala yoga, she is a shamanic yoga teacher, trainer, a ceremonialist and a musician. She aspires to walk the beauty way in all ways and it comes through in how she curates experiences for deepening our connection to self, mother earth and father sky through sound and ceremony.

Kashub is passionately dedicated to augmenting dancefloors with beautiful, lush, and meaningful visuals. Driven by this, he intuitively syncs his artistic output to the shifting mood of the room and the evolving music. He hopes to help elevate the immersive experience, making every event a synesthetic journey where sight and sound merge.
Kashub's name stems from the tribe of his ancestry situated along what is now the Baltic Coast of Poland. The tribe, now dispersed and displaced, lived peacefully isolated amidst sand dunes and swamps along the Baltic since before the dawn of the State of the Teutonic Order some 800 years ago.
