About the eventMarine Resources Council is helping to maintain the Town of Jupiter Island Bonair Beach Greenway. Regular park maintenance helps to restore the natural habitat and provide clean green space for residents and visitors. Volunteers will meet at the Jupiter Island Town Hall and carpool to the event location.
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will assist in litter pickup and invasive vegetation control in the 45-acre Town of Jupiter Island Bonair Beach Greenway.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Volunteers are required to bring closed-toed shoes, clothing that can get dirty, a water bottle, and snacks or lunch. There are no restrooms or water fountains at the work site. Long-sleeve shirt and long pants, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and garden gloves are recommended. If volunteers would like, they can bring loppers, clippers, hand saws, and other hand tools to assist with invasive species removal.
