About this Event
Welcome to Juno & Jayne Talking and Learning Stuff hosted by two of Canada’s most beloved talents! Juno Rinaldi rose to prominence after five seasons of Workin’ Moms but she’s a multifaceted artist who writes, paints, produces, teaches and runs marathons. Jayne Eastwood is a national treasure whose career has spanned over five decades. She starred in the seminal film Going Down the Road and the original Canadian production of Godspell alongside cast mates Eugene Levy, Martin Short, Andrea Martin and Gilda Radner.
They’re pleased as punch to announce Kathleen Robertson as their inaugural guest! Born in Hamilton, Kathleen Robertson started acting at the age of 10 and hasn’t stopped since. She became a household name when she joined the cast of 90210 as the troubled but misunderstood (or was she…) Claire Arnold. She expanded her title to include writer and producer and most recently creator. She was the sole Creator, Writer and Showrunner of Swimming with Sharks (adapted from the critically acclaimed 1994 movie of the same title) which is currently available on Amazon Prime. Not only that, she acted in the series alongside Diane Kruger, Kiernan Shipka and the late great Donald Sutherland.
This is a live event that will be held at the Crown and Press Art Gallery/Cafe on Ottawa Street followed by a mix and mingle with beats provided by Señior Trbl. So please join Juno & Jayne as they talk to Kathleen Robertson and learn how a Hamilton Girl became a Hollywood player!
