Junkin’ for a Cause is a fundraiser for the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy, built for anyone who loves vintage finds, quirky treasures, and a great reason to spend a day out in the community. Every dollar raised at this event goes directly to ADA accessibility improvements at our landmark Arthur building, so people of all abilities can fully participate in arts experiences the moment they walk through our doors.
When you shop, donate, or join in the fun, you are helping remove everyday barriers like inaccessible entrances, restrooms, and pathways. You are helping us create a building where a wheelchair user, a senior with limited mobility, a parent pushing a stroller, or a participant with a disability can move through the space with comfort, dignity, and independence.
Come browse, snag something weird and wonderful, and leave knowing your purchase made our community arts home more accessible for everyone.

Want to donate your junk? Drop off at the Academy starting March 10th and every Tuesday and Thursday until April 7th from noon-4pm (no toys, clothing or bathroom accessories please)
