☞ Early Doors at 1.30pm
☞ 3 price tiers (+ low income)
☞ 10 Bands
☞ It's on a Saturday!!!
As usual it’ll be packed with some of the very best DIY Alt Punk & Emo bands from across the UK with goodie bags, a pop up Junkbox shop, record store & a bunch of limited edition merch. All profits after artists & crew will be donated to Tiny Changes charity.
Who’s on the bill…
Campfire Social - This will be the first Chester show following the release of their debut album “They Sound The Same Underwater” so expect to hear songs you won’t have heard live before (which is pretty exciting!)
If you’re a fan of sweet sweet harms then genre blending, Emo, Indie-Pop + collective; Campfire Socials bright harmonies will be right up your street.
The Latchkey Kids - If you’re looking for some nostalgia drenched pop-punk with a healthy dose of North West Emo then you’re in for a treat!
Their latest release Acid Dads, Vol.1 is an absolute ripper of an EP so go check them out right now.
Wood and Nails - “With lyrics of bleary-eyed regret alongside polished but puncturing riffs the band have the clear-eyed soul of Noel Gallagher and the throat-shredding snarls of Brian Fallon all wrapped up in an early 2000's indie punk package.”
Little Bribes - Whether you’re stumbling into your 30's or looking to wind back the years, Little Bribes will whisk you back to the soundtrack of your mid 00's in no time.
Sleep Outside - The Cardiff based Celtic emo three piece have shared the stage with Emo giants Tigers Jaw, Free Throw, & Michael Cera Palin and touring the UK & Canada, they are bringing their anthems, math-pop influence & signature melancholic sound to Chester
Bureau de Change - The band’s recognizable writing style full of sardonic humour and decisive political messaging is carried by their strong feminist undertones, using striking imagery to draw idiosyncratic parallels to the world around them and the romanticised version of femininity. This is juxtaposed by the disjointed musical prowess (or lack of) to create a definitive sense of dissonance.
Nope Rope - A wall of noise & melting pot of musical influences has brought them together in an ultra symphony of dirty riff driven heavy drums and soaring vocals.
Breakfast with Bears - Fusing their love of 2000's Emo, math-rock and all things punk.
Through layers of driving electric guitars, groovy bass lines, powerful drums & melancholy vocals*, BWB* create a powerful and energetic alternative sound, aiming to make you dance whilst shedding a little tear*.*
Colonel Dax - Wrexham-based alt rock/multimedia project built around the songwriting, production and filmmaking of Tom Hughes.
Funky, Proggy, ever-so-slightly Emo, and somewhere in the vicinity of Rock, Colonel Dax songs are about confusion, animals, dreams and strange places; some are puzzles, some are absolutely stupid, and at least one of the is 27 minutes long.
Pacifier - Combining a long list of influences and the sounds of hard rock & indie, The band write a range of songs that are both slow & moving, but also songs that are fast-paced & chaotic
With accomplished guitar riffs and anthems solos composed by guitarists Matt and Cliffy, accompanied by the heavy-hitting drums of drummer Ollie, and the steady bass playing of bassist Lizzie. All fronted by lead singer and frontman Tom, delivering his own thoughtful lyrics about love & struggles with powerful vocals, accompanied by Matt and Ollie.
