Junk Journaling Workshop
But what IS a Junk Journal? Well, it's intended to be something that you can use to organize your life a little bit, and store all the little paper or textile memories that you have into one centralized location. A blank journal will be provided for you to decorate and then fill with your mementos. Junk Journaling is the "quick and dirty" cousin of scrapbooking, for the modern generation of unserious crafters.
Me personally? I have a handful of receipts from Joann Fabrics and Crafts (RIP) that I don't know what to do with... feels wrong to throw them out, so let's turn them into a craft! Folded brochures from the fairs and festivals I have gone to over the years... movie theater ticket stubs... and so on.
This event is for those 21+ and is intended for adults. Class runtime is approximately 1.5 hours, but may run slightly longer.
Included with your ticket:
-Supplies and instruction to get started decorating your junk journal and fill it with items that you bring with you to class.
-Scissors, tape, glue and more to create your junk journal.
-An assortment of blank journals to choose from (but don't worry, the colors don't matter because you'll be covering them anyway!)
-Lots of laughs, smiles, and creative encouragement, in a setting that's perfect for date night, friends' night out, girls night, and plenty of selfies!
Please feel free to bring snacks and beverages with you to the studio, to enjoy while you create! BYOB friendly.
