At its core, junk journaling is the art of creating a personalized, hand-crafted journal using repurposed materials. These materials might include old books, vintage paper or photos, fabric scraps, postcards, and various ephemera like tickets, maps, and receipts. Junk journals are often filled with handwritten notes, sketches, and photos, but there are no rules—if you can glue it down, it can go in your journal.
Shadow Work: Exploring the Inner Self
Jennifer will lead us through “Shadow work”, a therapeutic process that involves exploring your inner darkness or "shadow self" to achieve personal growth and self-acceptance. Shadow work aims to integrate the parts of yourself that you may find unacceptable or have repressed. The benefits of this process include increased self-awareness, emotional healing, and living a more authentic life.
This is part 2 of a 4 part series being held at the church. All supplies provided, cost is $10 per person.
