The Michigan World Organization of China Painters Spring meeting and workshop will be Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Room 201 at St. John’s Family Center, 405 N Dayton St., Davison, MI. from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost for the meeting is $15 for members and $20 for guests. Cost includes: Lunch, paint and porcelain. Checks should be made out to: MWOCP.
Members of the Michigan World Organization of China Painters will receive a registration form in the mail. If you are a guest and interested in attending, please message us on this page for a registration form. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS: Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
"From Leaf to Bloom: Botanical Banding Workshop" will be presented by the Berkley Chapter of China Painters. Participants will be provided instruction, a porcelain plate, and paint.
Participants should bring their regular painting supplies, including:
Box to take home 11” plate with wet paint (plate will be provided)
Brushes, assorted
Brush cleaner
Mixing medium
Painting medium
Balsam of Copaiba oil (there will be some to share)
Clove oil (there will be some to share)
Carbon paper
China Pencil
Stylus
Wipe out tool
Palette knife
Palette for paint (Paints will be provided)
Paper Towel
Cotton swabs
Tape
Scissors
