Junk Journal Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of junk journaling while creating layered, personalized pages using found materials, paper scraps, collage elements, and keepsakes.

Your ticket includes a journal to use during the workshop, along with access to a large shared supply table filled with magazines, collage paper, scissors, glue, tape, and other creative materials. No experience is necessary — just bring your creativity and curiosity.

We also encourage everyone to start collecting little bits of “trash” ahead of time to incorporate into your journal. Think receipts, old mail, ticket stubs, fabric scraps, wrappers, packaging, handwritten notes, maps, book pages, stickers, postcards, and other small treasures that might otherwise be thrown away. The more personal the materials, the more unique your journal will become.
