Attention Drama Kids! Join professional actor and drama workshop instructor Gracienne Swarbrick from Bruce County Playhouse as she takes you on a two-day adventure in the world of theatre arts.
What does it take to come up with amazing characters when you’re in a play? Find out as Gracienne leads you through fun and engaging character-building exercises using the Museum exhibits as your backdrop.
You’ll improvise, you’ll move, you’ll use your voice and have fun while you learn what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes!

Actor Bio
Gracienne is a local performer and a 2024 graduate from the St. Clair College Music Theatre Performance program. She started her professional career in 2019 when she appeared in Bruce County Playhouse’s production of Nunsense at 16 years old. During her years in school, Gracienne would come home for the summer and teach drama workshops in the area and once she had graduated, she began her post grad career with Bruce County Playhouse as “Roberta the camera person” in their production of The Kitchen Witches. She also holds an extensive background in music and dance which she loves to integrate into all of her workshops. Gracienne strongly believes in the importance of art within a community and the joy of storytelling.
