⚽️ SEN / SEND Football – Interest Day at Burscough FC 💚
We’re looking to trial a SEN / SEND football team at Burscough Football Club for children who may not currently have a suitable place to play.
This would initially be for children aged 7–14, with the hope of expanding if there’s enough interest.
The session would be for children with additional needs, including some physical disabilities, where playing on a 4G pitch is safe and appropriate.
We have football coaches in place, but we’d really welcome anyone with SEN/SEND experience who might be willing to help, support, or offer advice 💚
📅 Interest Day – Tuesday 13th January
⏰ 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Children can come along, have a run about and meet the team in a relaxed setting.
Families and adults will have the opportunity to talk with us about the session and how, as a community, we can move things forward.
💚 This all comes from a simple place — making sure local children have somewhere to play, belong, and enjoy sport, and giving them more options locally.
