Roebourne Junior Rodeo Day arrives in 2026 - and after the incredible success of last year’s event, we’re excited to welcome families and young riders for a Youth Centred, intimate afternoon celebrating the next generation of rodeo talent at our dedicated Junior Rodeo afternoon.
Date: 7 August 2026, from 3.30pm - 6pm
Location: Norwest Jockey Club, Roebourne WA 6718

Please note: This is an alcohol‑free event. No licensed bar will operate at the Junior Rodeo.
What to Expect at the 2026 Junior Rodeo:
*Dedicated Junior Rodeo Events – From barrel racing to steer riding, breakaway roping and more, our juniors take centre stage. Watch young riders showcase their skills, courage, and the incredible partnership between horse and rider.
*Family‑Focused Atmosphere – A relaxed, welcoming environment designed for families and community members to come together.
*Food Vans on Site – Enjoy a selection of local food vans offering tasty bites and refreshments throughout the afternoon.
*Celebrating Local Youth – Supporting the next generation of Pilbara cowboys and cowgirls as they learn, grow, and shine.
*A Genuine Pilbara Experience – Community, culture, and connection at the heart of every moment.

* This is an outdoor event and will proceed in most weather conditions. Please come prepared for sun, dust, wind, and Pilbara weather.
