The Kids get their own day to run at the Junior Kook Run! The Ecke YMCA will come alive on Saturday, February 10th for a Kooky Race for Kids ages 3-11. Family and friends can cheer their kids along as they run distances that start at a 400 yds, and go up to 1 mile on a closed and marked course hosted entirely at the YMCA. The adults get their day on Sunday, and Saturday is all about our Junior Kooks! INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION

Race Course:
The race starts in the NORTH parking lot of the YMCA (at packet pickup/registration expo) and follows a spacious closed course along dirt path around the ball fields before returning to the start. This will create a loop to allow the event to stretch the various distances from 400 yds to 1 mile. The start line will act as the finisher's line at the packet pickup/registration expo.
Ages 3-5 - Runs 1 Lap. --> 400 yds
Ages 6-7 - Runs 2 Laps --> 800 yds
Ages 8-9 - Runs 3 Laps. --> 1200 yds
Ages 10-12 - Runs 4 Laps. --> 1 Mile
Race Schedule:
8:30 a.m. - Packet Pickup for Pre Registered Runners Opens
9:00 a.m - Day of Event Registration Opens
10:30 a.m. - Ages 3-5 Junior Kook Start
10:40 a.m. - Ages 6-7 Junior Kook Start
10:55 a.m. - Ages 8-9 Junior Kook Start
11:10 a.m. - Ages 10-12 Junior Kook Start
