Junior Hawk on the Wild Side – October 19th & November 16th 10.00 – 3.00Starting at 10.00, children will be introduced to our team of Harris Hawks, from here they will be given all the correct equipment including bag and glove before setting out across the fields with the hawks. The children will get to see the hawks in action, as they walk the hawks will fly along side them through the canopy of the trees and along the hedge lines before gliding into their gloved hand.
We return to the farm at 12.30 for lunch, lunch is not included in the day so children will need to bring a pack lunch with them.
We continue into the afternoon where the children will have the opportunity to meet, handle and fly different species of owls and an eagle.
£39.00 per child
Numbers are limited on this day so book early to avoid disappointment.
The day is suitable for children aged 7-16 years
Parents are unable to stay with the children during the activity; children need to be at the farm for 10.00 and collected at 3.00 or alternatively parents can pay the general admission and meet up with the children at lunch time.
