Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2026 and book your young archaeologists (age 7+) onto one of our kid's workshops: Unearth and rebuild artefacts in our Dig Pit activity.
Each young archaeologist will receive their very own certificate to take away, too!
Dig Pits sessions will run at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Sessions last around 45 minutes.
Dig Pit activities are free but places are limited so booking is essential. Please book online or phone, email, or call in at the museum shop for more information.
Doors open for registration 15 minutes before session begins.
Sessions will start at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm prompt. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
