About Juneteenth Woburn
Juneteenth Woburn 2026 is in partnership with the Woburn Public Library, St. John’s Baptist Church of Woburn, and the NAACP Mystic Valley Area Branch. This year, our coalition of partners has expanded to include Woburn Memorial High School’s Black Student Union, Winchester High School’s Black Student Union, and the Network for Social Justice in Winchester.
Since 2021, Woburn’s annual celebration of Juneteenth has brought together hundreds of community members, of all ages and backgrounds, to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans by celebrating Black culture, contributions, and history in America.
