Come join us for a special Juneteenth Night Market on Friday, June 19, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, celebrating the theme of “Generational Excellence!” ✊🏾
This family-friendly event honors the legacy, resilience, culture, and achievements of African Americans through music, food, arts, and community connection.
Unlike our traditional Saturday market, this unique evening gathering will transform the farm into a vibrant celebration of heritage and excellence across generations right in Dr. Eartha M.M White’s Backyard!
Guests can enjoy live cultural performances throughout the evening, including:
* African Drumming by Hand Drums United
* Poetry Performances presented by Hope at Hand
* Line Dancing Demonstrations and Participation with Duval Kountry Stepperz
* Musical selections provided by Baba Selah, serving as the evening’s featured selecta!
The celebration will also feature activities and attractions for all ages, including:
* Bouncy house and family fun
* Local vendors and community partners
* Farm-fresh offerings
* Opportunities to connect with neighbors and celebrate community
Attendees can enjoy delicious food from featured vendors:
* Chef Till - serving smoked favorites fresh from the smoker!
* Chef Dani - offering a traditional Juneteenth meal inspired by the rich culinary traditions of the African American experience.
The theme, “Generational Excellence,” highlights the wisdom, strength, creativity, and perseverance passed down through generations while inspiring future leaders to continue building strong families and thriving communities.
This event is about honoring where we’ve come from, celebrating who we are today, and investing in the generations to come.
