Join Bread for the City and Mema's Popups & Events on Friday June 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM to celebrate Black liberation at Bread for the City's Michelle Obama Southeast Center. This family-friendly block party in the heart of Anacostia will feature a local Black-owned business marketplace, food, live performances, and educational sessions, all rooted in Black culture and history.
