This event will bring both awareness and celebration to the Overland Park area. The purpose of this event focuses on three main areas: Unity, Education, and Celebration.
1. Unity - To bridge many cultures, backgrounds, languages, races, and differences together to celebrate our one human race, while also acknowledging and celebrating our differences
2. Education - To educate on the history of Juneteenth
3. Celebration - To celebrate our continued growth, strength, and progress we make as we march forward in unity
Please join us and walk with COTH in the Juneteenth Parade at Prairiefire (5661 W. 135th Street, OP, KS) on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The parade starts at 9:30 AM. All parade participants will need to meet in the Chicken-N-Pickle parking lot with the COTH group by 9:00 AM.
After the parade, hang around for the performances, petting zoo, bounce house, and visit the vendors.

10:30 AM - Family Fun Activities, bounce house, face painting, petting zoo, vendors, performers, and more
