Join us for the "SOUL OF DFW" Food and Black History Bus Tour for this special edition tour as we discover stories of Dallas' Juneteenth connections. Private viewing the original Order #3, also known as "The Juneteenth Document" and tour two sites that are traced back to the original Dallas Juneteenth locations! ^SPECIAL VIEWING of never-before-seen artifacts from one of the original Dallas area freedmen towns. This is a special behind-the-scenes look at items before they are viewed publicly. This is not a typical "Soul of DFW" tour, complimentary mimosas, celebratory Juneteenth-inspired cocktails and a trip to where it all started. Visit a 19th century Black-owned farm for tour, and eat a delicious complimentary lunch. Next travel with us to one of the best-preserved Freedmen's towns! Take in the sites stress-free and with a fun group of fellow history lovers while exploring the tastes of DFW from the comfort of a chauffeured bus.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free parking available at departure point (African American Museum) An email will be sent to you a few days prior confirming departure information from secure central Dallas area loaction.

What can I bring into the event?

Tastings will be provided, but you are welcome to bring snacks, sodas, etc. Water will be provided

***Upon registration you will receive email confirming departure location and parking details. Please arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. Our bus will depart promptly at 10:00 a.m. and return no later than 3:00 p.m. Late arrivals will NOT be allowed on bus after 10:00 a.m. ***
