Juneteenth Celebration Under The Summer Sky

Enjoy a headlining live performance by The Little Moses Jones Band, a featured spoken word performance by Aerik Francis, Adams County Poet Laureate, free carousel rides for the kiddos, community connection, Texas Barbecue available for purchase, and a 21+ Spirit Garden featuring beer from Thornton’s own Satire Brewing.

We are excited to welcome The Little Moses Jones Band as the featured live entertainment for the City of Thornton’s Juneteenth Celebration. Their high-energy performance will help set the tone for an evening of music, celebration, and connection under the summer sky.

We are honored to welcome Aerik Francis, Adams County Poet Laureate, for a special spoken word performance in recognition of Juneteenth. Aerik’s artistry will help honor the history, meaning, and spirit of the day.

Texas Barbecue will be onsite with barbecue favorites available for purchase, so guests are encouraged to come hungry.

A 21+ Spirit Garden will also be available featuring beer from Thornton’s own Satire Brewing. Valid ID will be required for entry and alcohol purchase.

Families are welcome. Children can enjoy free carousel rides and other activities during the celebration.
