Juneteenth Celebration

This year's Juneteenth Celebration will be held at Dawes Park/Arrington Lagoon on the lakefront. The Opal Walk for Freedom, organized by Kemone Hendricks of Evanston Present and Future, will commence at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at Arrington Lagoon. Formal onstage programming including a DJ, musical and dance performances, will begin at 12:00 p.m. Be sure to stop by the PEPL table and say hello!
