Join Gibsonville Parks & Recreation for our Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Murrell Park (315 Tenth Street)!
This special event brings our community together to honor the history and significance of Juneteenth while celebrating culture, connection, and joy. It’s a day designed for all ages to reflect, learn, and have fun together.
✨ Event Highlights Include:
⭐ Bounce houses for kids
🚂 Trackless train rides
🎶 Live DJ entertainment
💇🏾♀️ Hair braiding station with Crown Slayer & The Oasis Natural Hair Salon
• Live demonstrations at 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM
• Free single braids with accents for kids
🗳️ Voter registration booth (Guilford & Alamance County residents)
📚 Gibsonville Public Library “History Harvest” & Book Bike
🧘 Wellness activities including yoga & chair massages
🎯 Interactive games and activities for all ages
🍴 Food & Vendors:
Enjoy a variety of food trucks and shop with local vendors throughout the day!
We’re proud to feature 22+ vendors, highlighting Black-owned businesses from Gibsonville and surrounding communities—with more being added!
💡 Please note: All activities are free to participate in. Food trucks and vendors will have items available for purchase.
