Celebrate the second annual Juneteenth at the Music in the Park on Saturday, June 15, 2023, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Central Community Park. The event celebrates the emancipation of African-Americans with family, friends and neighbors at this multicultural, fun and interactive community event.
The day-long event educates the community on the contributions of African-Americans on American cultural including its foundation in spirituality, family, food and music. The celebration will feature local food vendors and artisans, live R&B, soul, funk and Gospel music, DJ music and line dancing, and history on Juneteenth. Families are encouraged to attend. A kid’s area will be available, and the library, water fountain and playground will be open.
