Join the City of Edinburg Cultural Arts Division for Juneteenth 2026: Celebrating Freedom, History & Unity, an evening dedicated to honoring the significance of Juneteenth through remembrance, education, culture, and community.
The evening will begin with a commemorative ceremony at 6:00 PM featuring special presentations, historical reflections, community tributes, and guest speakers that recognize the history and lasting impact of Juneteenth.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to continue the celebration at 7:30 PM with a lively community gathering featuring:
• Live entertainment by Memphis Soul, a Motown Tribute Band
• Community exhibits and educational displays
• Local vendors
• Festival food
• Family-friendly activities
• Photo opportunities
This free public event offers an opportunity for residents and visitors to come together in celebration of freedom, heritage, resilience, and unity while honoring the past and looking toward the future.
