Join the Jedi Council of Utah for our June Saber Practice on Saturday, June 20th, from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM at Wheadon Farm Regional Park, 13965 S Bangerter Pkwy, Draper, UT 84020.
Whether you're picking up a lightsaber for the first time or you're a seasoned duelist looking to refine your craft, there's a place for you at this family-friendly gathering. Beginners can learn the Basic 9 strikes and the fundamentals of saber wielding, while more experienced members can collaborate with fellow duelists to polish choreography, refine original character duels, or recreate and master iconic battles from your favorite Star Wars films and series.
Participants are encouraged to wear:
A Star Wars costume or cosplay that allows for safe movement and flexibility
Your favorite Star Wars apparel or swag
Athletic attire suitable for physical activity
Closed-toe shoes are required for participation.
Children are welcome to attend. A public playground is located within sight of the practice area, making this a great event for families.
