Join us for our June First Saturdays Papermaking Workshop on Saturday, June 6th from 1–4pm as we explore the art of traditional western hand papermaking using inclusions.Inclusions are objects embedded directly into handmade sheets of paper, creating texture, imagery, and unique personal expression. Participants are encouraged to experiment with all kinds of materials—sticks, leaves, rocks, fabric, thread, toys, and other found objects—to create one-of-a-kind handmade papers.
Whether you are completely new to papermaking or returning to the studio, this workshop is a fun and creative way to explore the possibilities of handmade paper art in a welcoming community setting.
Our First Saturdays Papermaking Workshops are held year-round with the generous support of the City of Reno.
