June Native Plant Walk at Ivy Creek

On the last day of Spring, join us on a walk to search for early Summer blooms. Some native plants that we may find in bloom are Black Cohosh, Enchanter’s Nightshade and Summer Bluets. In addition, we may spot Running-cedar and various ferns in shadier areas. Co-sponsored by Jefferson Chapter of VNPS and the Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic Riverview Farm.
- Meet at parking lot kiosk promptly at 9AM.
- Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water.
- No dogs allowed on Ivy Creek trails.
