Welcome to the June meet of Oslo Sling Library - where we will have a special outside edition, at the weekend, in Frognerparken! We will post our position on the day :)Come and rent a sling for your summer holidays!
**NOTE: We are so happy that so many people value our meets and want to learn more about carrying!! But there are only a few of us, so we need to limit our consults to 15 minutes per child. Thankful for your understanding <3 please reach out via message if you want to learn back carrying or something more complex than you think we can manage in 15 minutes and we will arrange a private consult!**
Our library consultants can advise, teach you to use a carrier or wrap, or check that you are using your own carrier correctly. Our meet ups are also a great place to socialise, meet new people or have a shoulder to cry on - we are here for it all.
- Sign in when you arrive, we will help everyone in the order they are signed in on our list.
- Library consults are limited to 15mins. Our consultant can help you with one sling, type of carry or fit checking your own carrier. This is important so that we help everyone who comes.
- There are of course limitations as to what we can teach in a library environment because of time limitations and safety, Back carry in a wrap for example requires at least one hour to teach and safe surroundings.
- We will have some workshops for newborn carrying, wraps and backcarrying, so watch this space!
- Some of our consultants offer private consultations so do reach out to us if you need more in depth help.
