Island Readers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the library. The group reads the same book each month and meets to have a lively discussion and enjoy snacks.

At our May meeting we discussed Ray Bradbury's "Dandelion Wine". Readers found the book enchanting and magical and gave us all a way to reflect on childhood memories - a small gem. Ratings were mostly 10's. If you haven't read it, make it a sweet summer read. It's not long and the vignettes are beautifully written. For those of you who write, there are some good prompts in there.
