Join Northwest Park educators on a guided Golden Hour/Full Moon Paddle on Rainbow Reservoir. Take a short hike down to Oil City where we will launch our canoes to explore the Farmington River as we learn about wildlife species, the importance of Rainbow Dam and water conservation. The Full Moon will guide our way as we hike back to the Nature Center.
𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐏𝐅𝐃𝐬) 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬. 𝐍𝐖𝐏 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐅𝐃𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰.
NWP canoes can hold a maximum of 3 people. When registering, please note the other members of your party so we can group you accordingly. Single participants will be paired in a canoe with other participants.
Ages 12+
Residents - $20, Nonresidents - $25
Pre-registration is mandatory; no walk-ins accepted
