June Foundation Ride
About this Event
We're meeting at the IC Imagine Charter School for this month's Foundation ride. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. This ride starts with a skills clinic and then heads out on the trail to practice those skills.
In order to make this ride as accessible as possible for riders, we will have a number of bikes available to loan for the ride. If you need to borrow a bike and/or need a helmet, please let us know when you register.
Important details!
Skills / Experience Required: Basic balance and control of the bike including braking and changing gears. Experience riding on paved and gravel surfaces
Endurance Required: Ability to ride at least 3 miles on gravel or paved surface in 45 minutes. Your current fitness routine includes biking, running, or other cardio at least once per week.
After participating in our pre-ride clinic, you understand the concept of neutral position, ready/attack position, braking (one finger/gentle pressure) and level pedals.
