We'll be talking about Micro-Budget Filmmaking: Filmmakers Bretton Miller & Pierce Ryan discuss aspects of micro-budget filmmaking for both documentaries and fiction films, from preparation and financing all the way to post-production and release.
Bretton Miller:
Bretton Miller’s work as a director has been showcased at film festivals like Cindependent & Florida Film Festival, and featured on NoBudge, the premier online platform dedicated to emerging filmmakers. Currently, he works for one of the most acclaimed film festivals in the world, SXSW, while programming films for Cincinnati’s Garfield Theater. He is also prepping his next fiction film.
Pierce Ryan:
Pierce Ryan is a native of Tallahassee Florida and graduate of FSU film school. His stories often blend a yearning for human connection against the backdrop of the rural Southeast. He seeks out those hilarious, heartbreaking or visceral moments that rarely can be believed on screen.
